Today was not the best day that I have yet to encounter. I don't know whether it is my lack of sleep or cold that is bothering me. All I know that I left for Halifax expecting to get away, be relaxed and forget about the world for a few days. I did that. In fact, it was the best medicene I could have asked for. Coming home was quite the opposite. Instead of a "honey I'm home" it was more of a diasterous return. I forgot how stressful life is. I have so many things that are due, pressure with marks, scholarships, valedictorian voting, last concert, banquet, I should really stop this list. It's like everyone has left without me. I think I missed something big while I was gone. I think it will take me days to figure out why everything is utter chaos. I think I need a time machine to take me back to Halifax.

Ps- To all those who performed at Fanfare, I have never been more proud of a group of indivduals. We freaking rocked and I am so proud to have spent all that time with all of you. You are truly so talented!

Before complaining, I must say I am mighty excited about Halifax:) I'm totally not ready for it, but that's ok, I have time! I get to spend time with people that I haven't had time to see in such a long time. With a 22 hour bus ride, I'm sure that we can catch up some way or another. I'm kinda nervous about going away though... yes i'm going to miss rob haha I'm a woman. I think I'll buy a calling card, that seems like a smart thing to do...

Celebrating Bee's birthday with people I haven't chilled with in ages, acceptance to my first choice university (Brantford), celebrating 6 months with Rob (this time around haha), celebrating Lindsey's birthday, finishing projects on time, getting awesome mark updates, completed the english midterm, yearbook is OFFICIALLY over:), gold last week in band and I was offered a summer job at the lawyer's office.. I would say life is quite peachy:)

Queens, you are the most arogant, cocky individuals I have ever met. Who in the world thought u should representing your school? The #1 school that I wanted to go to just became dead last because of two individuals that couldn't answer any of my questions. "well, ummmm... its a really good experience!" How does your program compare to other schools? Does the YRDSB pick individuals from queens first? "ummm... its a really great experience!" Thanks.
So Laurier- Brantford you have stolen my heart! (ya no one even knows where or what that is...) Def the best school for concurrent education! I've never felt more ready for uni until today. We can do this!!!

Well, I think that it's time for another entry! It's been ages since the last one...
School is in full swing, but im afraid that its going by too quickly. With all the things that im involved in, the weeks pass by SO quickly. I can't believe it's almost OCTOBER. That's just weird... Ms. Banjevic is a complete fool. I'm sure she's really smart in math (being the head) but she just doesnt listen to our class. She won't let us ask class members questions and when we do group work, we are expected to do it alone. I dont know how group turns magically into "do it your own and don't talk to anyone".... I just need a higher mark for Queens and I'll be happy. Geo is amazing. I know everyone hates it, but that is totally something that I would like to be involed with in the future. Yearbook- well.. its yearbook. Harding doesn't get what she wants, cries about it and then Ms. Ellis changes it. Its not going to be the best yearbook this year, but theres nothing i can do. I'll work my ass off on my pages!
So enough about school. Tonight is the potential break up. I'm really nervous but it needs to be done. He's such a great guy, but not the one for me. So if anyones looking for a hottie (check out italy space pics) whos nice and is AMAZING at guitar, let me know....
Breannes cottage was AMAZING. I actually had a blast. The mouse, candy cane, sherwoodmobile, jumping/showering in the lake and the C STROKE BREANNE! *tear im so proud*. It was so nice to spend time with such down to earth girls. You guys are amazing.
I love the friendships that are being strengthened this year. I really feel that this is going to be an eventful year, but in a good way! PUT A SMILE ON EVERYONE!!!

Ok so Im being selfish reading everyone's entries and not writing in my own, but I feel embarassed with all the things that have been going on. I fucked up royally basically ,to sum up. I thought that going away was like a little place away from reality, and when i came back, everything from that trip would be over and I had to face what I left behind. Boy was I ever wrong. Saturday was the huge party with the people from my trip and like 20 other people that I have never seen before (but go to st. mikes vicki *winks*). I talked to a lot of people about the situation i was in. The more i talked, the more i realized that i really don't know what im doing. 2 break ups in a little over 2 weeks, thats ridiculous... its terrible actually. So, my plan: stay single for a while... i just dont know what im doing.
Here's something that i do know tho. Last night i was put in a situation that I did not want to be in. I knew that i had to talk to him, but i wasn't really ready to. So i bawled (wow this update looks like im an emotional wreck) and I called Jac Pac. Next thing i know, i see Katherine RUNNING toawrds me (she ran from hre house to the school) and later jac and breanne pull up in the parking lot. They come bearing gifts of sweedish berries and aero (my favourite). They sat with me until i was calm and would crack jokes to make me laugh. That right there just proves how amazing my friends aer. To drop everythign to go help another friend, im amazed. Girls, you mean so much to me!!!! More than any guy lol more than a lot of things. Thank you for everything, you make everything ok <3

I guess that it's time for an entry about my trip to ITALY!!!
To sum up: the best experience of my life.
I always heard everyone come back from it saying that it totally changed them as a person. I thought it was a load of bs, but still went into the experience with an open mind. The first few days were very interesting getting to konw everyone. It's strange how a first impression of someone can be SO completely wrong! I thought i would need to aviod some sketch people, and those people became not only y friends, but one became my boyfriend haha. Note to self: dont do that at alex mac lol.
The weeks passed in a flash. With teh drinking, the beach, the pool, the touring of beautiful cities, school in the morning, the dances, the dress up nights, gossip fests on the balcony and absolutly ridiculous random times, i can finally say that i am content with life. That trip taught me so much and brought back the optimistic attitude i was neglecting this entire grae 11 year. I made friends that I will never forget. Some people in Richmond Hill really started to get on my nerves, meeting these people was incredible. They were so generous (shots all around!!!!), polite ,HILARIOUS, open minded and great listeners. It takes me months, maybe even years to open up to people sometimes. By letting down my guard, i was able to do that in a matter of hours. The past few days have been very difficult. Coming home and dealing with the things that i thought were in the past or things within my family has left me pretty emotional. Thank you to my friends (new and old!) that have been there to make this jet lagged, emotional girl feel back at home. I missed it, but i will NEVER forget the memories from Italy 2006. You know what the craziest thing was? THERE WAS NO DRAMA. I know, it doesn't seem possible does it? If something happened, it would be ressolved by the next morning. Perhaps it was a result of being with the people 24/7, im not sure. All i know is that i dont want grade 12 to be like grade 11 was. Why do we need different groups? we all have awesome qualities and i DO want to meet other people. (random fact of the day hahaha).
Overall, it feels good to be home, but i miss it like mad. That was actually more than anyone could have expected. I've already chilled with people from it and am looking forward to the big party tomorrow. They were my family for 3 weeks and i appreciate every minute of it.
Tiffy, i really missed you and i cant get over that talk we had last night. It's like i didnt even leave. Im going to miss you like a madman when ur gone but i know u'll have an awesome trip! Meet some boys, and remember- be smart!!!! Love you to bits and bon voyage!

Because of my voage to Italy, I'm going to write in red, one of the colours (plus it's pretty). Wow... I can't believe it's actually happening! I mean my rents (crazy as they can be sometimes) are letting me go overseas, without them, to ITALY for 3 weeks. How i talked them into it, I'm still not sure. I really cannot wait for this trip, my stomach is a freaking roller coaster, but I'm assuming its a combo of nerves and EXCITEMENT! Tomorrow is also the final for soccer. We get to watch it on a huge screen in one of the many italian sqaures with all the locals. I will be in my glory if they win, that party will be insane.
Although i am just too excited for this, i know taht I will miss people really easily. I def cried last night when i said bye to katherine. Having 4 classes and spending like every weekedn with that girl makes it really hard to say goodbye! Mitch came to visit me in the wee hours of the morning and just stayed andd talked for an hour (until i HAD to go inside). Thta guy is actually amazing, i mean he broke a little rock for me so we could have one each and remember each other! He also attempted to kidnap me, but im assuming he doesnt want me to go. I also had a long talk with rob last night. We have become really good friends and its totally something that i want. We can go for 3 hour long walks and not run out of things to say. Laast night we didn't even finish talking but we had to go. Tiffy, i know we haven't been able to hang out casue we're so busy, but i will miss you like mad. You are such an amazing girl! Who am i going to talk to when i have my girly problems? Who else can tell something is wrong without me even saying a word. Well saying i have all this time becasue its the SUMMER i think it's time for a real update (cause all of you are avidly interested in my life haha)
Grade 11 is over. That feels so weird to type. All the laughs, the stressful days, the i dont give a crap days, the cloud nine, the broken hearts, the shopping, the girls nights, the parties and all the times in between, it has been awesome. Through the year i wished that the year would come soon, and now i feel it came to soon. I ended the year on a stressful, quite mean streak which i did not wish anyone to experience. I know i was really rude and selfish and for that I am so sorry. If i could go back i would be that happy girl that wouldn't let a person or problem get ot her! Thats my goal for next year: no matter how stressed, stay optimisitc. :)
I met a lot of really awesome people and experienced high school in a different way. There are the square people that were always there for support and good laughs, the boys who keep me sane and told me that girls are crazy and they dont mean anything they do ahha, there were the girls or 3rd lunch with the timmie runs, my immigrants haha vicki and alice i love you guys, mitchie- best bro in the world and other random characters that added to the fun year. I'm leaving for Italy with no regrets and no hard feelings (well one little thing that i have to change, but thats been ongoing haha).
Today was a really rewarding day! I thought that i would just miss the honour roll (which never happens to a nigra girl) so i would be banished to no msn and studying in my room for life. It's so stressful when you have two older, perfect sisters to follow after. Im sure that half of you know this and feel my pain on this one. I guess that sucking up to the teachers helped becasue some kind of miracle happened. In english I finished with an 85% (went up from the exam- that never happens!) which i am really proud of. I put a lot of effort into that class because i heard that cooper was an asshole. Ms. Buzaglo is my hero. Somehow i got 65% on the exam and it brought my 70% up to a 72%. She said that she really liked my laugh and made her smile. I'll laugha ll day if it measn bringing my mark up 2%! Ms. Brundage didn't do anythign to my mark, so i finished with a 70%. Im not too impressed with that mark but next year I know where i have to improve. Music is music, Huddie is too much fun. For those of you who don't know mr hudspith, this might sound a little creepy. I was helping out today after school with like 6 other people organizing the music room (putting the music away, etc). I was complaining that i was confsued with my future and he asked what the problem was. After about an hour of telling him whta i was thinking of doing, what he thought i should do, how he likes teaching, etc we eneded up looking at universities to look at what courses i needed and what would be the best for me. He totally helped, more than my parents and guidance combined. I don't know what is going to happen to the music program when he leaves, but im so glad to have had him as a teacher. If i do become a teacher (which is an option im debating on) i would really like to be their for my studetns as he has been for all of us. It makes a big difference to have someone spend the time with you, take time out of their busy schedule to help.
Overall, friends, family, everything is finally so much better. I think i pushed people away with my stress and negative attitude. I spent a lot of time with my mom this week becasue i never noticed how much she really cared. I didn't realize that until i came home plastered and bawled to her, but i guess you have to learn some way!!!
ITALY IS COMING UP!!!! I really hope that everythign works out. I'm so excited but im going to miss home. You people are too amazing and i know i will miss you guys!!! We need some get together, parties or even chills nights before i leave. And as always, plane letters are always being accepted! :):):)! if you want one just msg me, i have a lot of free time @ work (as you can tell with this long entry).
As vicki would say, summer 06 is here and bound to be sexy:)! I love that line ahah hopefully u didnt copyright it:P!

Methinks it is time for an update!!!
There's a lot of things that I can write about but it will be the usual things most of you will be hearing on a daily basis. It seems everyone is beginning to crack under the pressure of ISUS and general stress from life. My parents act like it isn't possible for a 16 year old to be stressed... hmmm wouldn't it be interesting for them to try AMHS for a day? That would make a cool new reality tv show... I was working on Monday (the last of the long weekend, tear) on my homework for around 5 hours. "alison why didnt u do you chores? You're grounded..." I can never hear enough of that line haha. I guess i deserve it though. I have been isolating myself from my family, just need some reflecting time!!! Like jac pac says, light some candles and listen to music. Cept i kinda changed that suggestion- casue i would most likely fall asleep and burn my hosue down. So i read a book. Not a school book, not a magazine about improving your self image, but a book. It felt mighty good:)

The long weekend was all that I could have hoped for. It was not only a time to relax and catch up on things, but also a time for amazing memories!!! You've read about all the highlights from the other journals, so I won't blabber on about those. Thanks everyone that made it a great way to celebrate may 2-4!!!

This week at school is a time for cleaning up my act. I went to an ESP meeting for the morning. There were some stats that they used to prove that schools aren't safe. They said that 26% of students have smoked weed. If that is true (which i think is a little low personally...) I feel TERRIBLE. 3/4 of the school population is smart enough to say no to a little temptation. Meanwhile I have suckered myself into thinking it was a way to relax and cool down. If those stats are true... i feel so stupid... They also said that 52% of students have had booze. This is not true... I don't know where they got these, but it really got me thinking. What am i doing with my life??

To conclude this long ass entry, I would like thank my amazing friends. Especially Jac Pac, our nunnery, bob the builder, fat and sassy moments totally helped me with my problems hahha. Tiffy, you always know how to make me emotional don't you!!! Don't worry, no kicking ass for a long time, im so done haah.

For everyone that is feeling stressed at the moment, take time for yourself. Just stop, relax and think about your life. Sounds so cheesy and like a stupid thing Dr,. Phil would say, but Jaclyn is right, it totally helps. Sorry for being a bitch the past couple of weeks, but hopefully happy alison will be returning tomorrow, look out for red faces, big smiles and a jumpy blonde:)

TODAY WAS AN AWESOME DAY! I LOVE ALL MY FRIENDS, they totally know how to make me smile! I don't even know what made it so amazing but everyone was in such a good mood! I love how a little bit of sun can make everyone start to smile again. I walked into english in a really crabby mood because of my marks, but the day just kept getting better after that! I love how they bring up chocolate in almost every sentence... I CAN'T GET AWAY FROM THE CRAVINGS! Also, the love, energy and money meter were all 5/5 tomorrow, so maybe thats a good sign. I will have energy cause tomorrow is an easy day, i might have money cause I'm working 3 days this week, but love... hard topic. Basically im lost in that department, i know what i want but you can't have it. Doesn't it always seem to work out that way? Boys are stupid, they are mean and create drama. The end:)

Oh my.. this week really needs to end! FOr myself and I'm sure for others it has been extremely busy. With all the school things, work load, quizzes, tests, assignments, gossip, drama, music things, I just need to sit down and RELAX. Today i was so tired and mentally exhausted that I had to leave band and just lie down in the council room. The room was spinning and I thought I would throw up. Mr H gave me some water and told me to take it easy tho, what an amazing teacher!!!
With me being so busy I feel out of the loop with people. I used to be there to listen to everyone and issues they are having. Now it seems I'm too busy for that and it is really starting to bother me. I love when people are there for me and I can go to ask them for advice or just vent to them. To all of you that are missing our old talks, im so sorry! I just need to sort some things out (people and school work) and the energetic alison will be back soon!
Last night i went to the baseball game with Mitch. That boy is incredible. I just told him everything that was going on and he totally helped. I can't get over how strong he is. You would never know some of the things he went through, and here i am crying over bad marks in school. He's hilarious and we chilled with some drunk guys thta made our night even better.
Haha tiffy and jordan im going to talk about you guys now! You guys just seem to click and im so happy to see how much u mean to each other. Tiffy is smiling and jordan of course is crazzzy happy. I love seeing others smile like that, i wish there was something i could do to make everyone look like that!

10 MORE DAYS OF LENT! I don't even know what I am going to eat first, mini eggs or girl guide cookie- it's confusing!!!
Today was a busy but good day! Went shopping in the morning, spent too much money, but it should be good. I like giving things to people, i dunno the smiles on their faces make it so worthwhile! School was def. interesting tho haha and kinda fun. In music we went outside to play. It's so different playing outside and it sounded pretty bad cause everyones instrument was flat or sharp, but everyone was all smiles anyways. English we played some scrabble and i actually won. I used to play with my mom and she would make the longest words ever, so it felt good and i feel accomplished! There was some dispute (basically just rob) haha thinking that i couldn't use "shroom" as a word, but we checked and it was in the dictionary! We had a couple meetings after school and now I'm at work.
When i get home make sure i do my math homework (even tho i have no idea whats going on). Anyone smart in math?

This is called Alison doesn't want to do her homework... all in favour? It's been rather busy at school these past days. I just feel like i havent been putting effort into anything anymore. I used to be all over the homework, get it finished early, make sure i understand it and pay attention to every detail in class. I don't know whether it's someone or something that is distracting me, but I'm not myself these days.
This weekend was tons of fun tho and totally what i needed. I got my first experience in joy riding, probably will be my last!:P Then we went over to sammys where we chilled and beat away sorrows with a nice bottle. Everyone kept touching my new hair (cut hair that is) so it made me feel better about it lol. I love the new hair, i just miss long hair:(
Today was rather dramatic tho... Music was fun times as usual, breanne and i were total twins with our outfits, so daring!!! But then english happened... I know i am sometimes guilty of this, but ppl need to learn to think before they open their mouths. I had to go sit in robs seat beside jaclyn cause she was scared i would hurt someone. I totally bombed the make up test for math at the end of the day and have no idea about whats going on in bio haha (which is usually one of my best subjects???)
I love and thrive off friends, what would i do without you guys!? I know i can be a little emotional (esp with some booze in my system ahah sorry) but your support means so much. I don't even knwo why i still think about it, or why im still so misguided. Im working on it tho:) Italy here i come!!!

It's been a while since I have done an actual update about my life, hmmm i should get on that! So second semester is still rolling along, classes are boring but the people in them are awesome so that totally makes up for it. I actually have no idea what i would do if i still had 2nd lunch... it was deserted and i couldn't contribute to the conversations. Now i can play 007 and faces with jac pac and gossip with my girls! or go to mcdonalds and have some good times lol. Everything seems to be running smoothly, little drama here and there, but hey it's high school.
I've also heard that there are STILL rumors going around about me and rob. Yes, the whole lawyer house thing and supposedly we have sex now.. interesting concept... Oh well.. i guess i will let people have their fun and think that.
This weekend should be AWESOME! I'm actually so excited about semi and i have no idea why. I breaking out like mad so i will look pretty darn crappy, but everyone is happy about semi and happy people make me a happy person! Everyone is going to look so fab and all the girlies with their guys are really happy. Even the people going solo are going ot have an amazing time. I love how semi bridges the gap between people. Those you don't even know come up and compliment you and you have an amazing time dancing with people you don't even talk to. I think everyday at school should be like semi...<3
I'm also seeing the musical! Yay! i got a little preview first period this morning, bee you are one amazing singer! I have to do a few things at church, including put on my guiding uniform.
